Jong Young plays keyboards and co-wrote the Felini-album from Fish, he played with:

Paul Rodgers,
Kenny Jones,
Steeleye Span,
John Wetton,
Bonnie Tyler (since '93).
After the Fellini-album he went on tour with the Scorpions,
Greensalade.

He previously released a demo (summer 2002), John Young's Significance is about to hit the streets soon as a proper CD release. Young hopes to take the road from September onwards with his band consisting of:

John Mitchell (Arena) on guitar and vocals,
John Jowitt (IQ) on bass and vocals, and
Steve Christey (Jadis) on drums.

The set will be a mixture of John Young solo stuff and tracks from his new album, which has the working title of Unknown Soldier.

A Young Person's Guide ('02) a best of John Young, taking material from many of his solo releases as well as two bonus tracks.
On the whole a mellow CD, not generally in progressive mould - but enjoyable all the same. So all in all it accomplishes the goals that it sets out to achieve. As a compilation album it offers a taster of the varied musical styles to be found on John's solo works coupled with two "bonus" tracks from his involvement with Greenslade and John Wetton.

 

John Young Band is touring in the U.K. & Europe, featuring

Robin Boult (gtrs) Fish/Howard Jones/Sugarbabes,
Dave Stewart (drums & vox) Deacon Blue/Fish/Camel and
John Jowitt (bass & vox) IQ/Jadis/Arena.

His latest live cd is called Live At The Classic Rock Society 2003. Joining Young are Robin Boult (Fish) on guitars, John Jowitt (Jadis) on bass and vocals, and Dave Stewart (drums and vocals).
