YOGI LANG interview Jan 2011.

"Mostly Pink had some chitchat with Yogi Lang of the lovely South of Freising
and Yogi was able to answer 11 quick-fire questions."

The 5 All time Questions?

1. What are the 5 things you can't live without?
My kids, music, hope, freedom, women.
2. Your 5 favourite albums all time?
Animals (Pink Floyd),
Solar Fire (Manfred Mann),
Out of the Blue (ELO),
Pet Sounds (Beach Boys),
Who's next (the Who).
3. What's your favourite motto or the advice you live by?
Living in the flow of life.
4. Do you regret something in your life?
I sold my vcs3 and my prophet 5 when I was much younger than today.
5. Why do we need to see Yogi Lang live?
It will be a fantastic band and the setlist will be very interesting ;-)

Assorted things to know:

1. What has been the biggest moment of your career thus far?

Releasing our first record, doing our first tour! that was really unexpected and somehow it was like a dream comes true...
2. Where will Yogi Lang be in 10 years?
Holidays.
3. What did you do the last weeks and this morning?
I finished the album production of the band "hokum", mastered the album "meet me in the afterlife" of the band "simeon soul charger" that will be released on our label "gentle art of music" and this morning I wrote this interview right before breakfast.
4. Are you pleased with the response on "No Decoder"?
I'm very happy that people know what the album is about and like the music. It was not easy to make an album that really feels like a solo album but now I feel comfortable with the result.
5. Ever considdered to leave RPWL?
No, not at all.
6. How Rock & Roll is Yogi Lang, is it drugs, rock, sex and booze?
As an artist you're doing music, the rock'n'roll image is what media needs to present it.

Yogi Danke schön!
