WhoIsWho

Peter Gabriel live in Oberhausen Germany 30 April 2003.

The first time i saw Peter was in Werchter Belgium, i believe it was in the summer of '85. The Eurithmics, Lou Reed, Lloyd Cole and the Commontions, Chris Rea and others did a performing at this great festival too. Peter was one of the highlights. A year later i saw him again in the Ahoy Rotterdam. Another great gig, sadly we missed the Secret World Live - tour. So it was a long, long time ago. But sometimes it is worth to wait so long.
A round stage in the middle of the hall, great effects, great "stunts", and that at his age. The stage is turning circles so everyone can see what is happening, besides that he and his bandmembers are running and walking in all directions. And with the help of two screens you can see just everything.
All performing in black, the hairdress code for the men was short or even bold. Solsburry Hill A great surprising show with very nice special effects.
The suit with the lights was a bit simular as the man on the cover of Pink Floyds Delicate Sound of Thunder.

Peter stays the storryteller as in his younger days with Genesis.
